FUNDAMENTALS OF SURGICAL RESEARCH WORKSHOP BY AAS. 

This workshop is being organized by the Association of Academic Surgeons (AAS) of America.

Venue:     Bintumani Hotel Conference centre.

Time:     8am – 6pm.

Course fee:    $50.

ABSTRACT FORMAT:

1.  The title of the paper should be centred, double spaced and the name(s) of author(s) and the institution where the work was done should be indicated. The name of the author to present the paper at the conference should be indicated.

2.  The abstract should not exceed 200 words.

PRIZES:

a.   Ethicon prize shall be awarded to the best scientific paper presented by a young Fellow of the College.

b.  Jim Nwobodo prize shall be awarded to the best paper presented by a Graduating Fellow.

Contestants for all these prizes should apply to the Chairman of the LOC with a copy of the full paper not later than 31st December 2007.

c.   College Prizes

REGISTRATION: 
Conference Registration fee is $150.  
Registration fee for each accompanying persons is $100.

1.  Budget $100 for Hovercraft or Helicopter & $60 for Ferry from Luingi airport to Freetown and return.

2.  Budget $40 for airport tax payable on return at Luingi airport.

3.  Carry your immunisation Yellow card.

4.  Visa not necessary for those with passports from ECOWAS Countries.
